Long-eared owl chicks rescued by marines have been released. This was announced by the director of the Odesa Zoo, Ihor Belyakov. The birds were rescued by soldiers of the 35th separate brigade of marines back in July. They were picked up among the fallen trees after the Russian rocket attack. At that time, the animals were small and needed careful assistance. They were brought to the zoo by a fighter with the call sign “Gagarin”. Photo: Ihor Belyakov/Facebook Owl cubs were cared for and prepared for independent life in Odessa for a long time. Now they have been released into the wild. As a reminder, conservationists from Transcarpathia launched a 24-hour stream from the barn owl’s nest.
