The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy has appointed director Maksym Golenko to perform the duties of artistic director of the Maria Zankovetska National Academic Drama Theater in Lviv. He also added: “The National Theater must deal with a national product. When national theaters do not show anything from modern Ukrainian drama, it is a strange situation for me. After all, we live in a historical time and there are people who write about this time. There is no need to look for metaphorical historical texts”.
