Hutsul folk music of various genres became the main source of inspiration for Zagaykevych and Chornoy. And the creators defined their final result as “opryshki-jazz” and “ethno-electronica”. About the film “Dovbush” The adventure-historical action “Dovbush”, which tells the story of the leader of the Opryshki Oleksa Dovbush, became one of the largest and most expensive Ukrainian films. Its budget is 120 million hryvnias, work on the film lasted 10 years. The events take place in the Carpathians in the 18th century, when the Hutsuls were forced to flee to the mountains due to the brutality of the Polish nobility. Oleksa and his brother Ivan, seeking revenge for the murder of their parents, differ in their views and become enemies of each other. Oleksa leads the uprising and becomes the hero of the legend of the Carpathian knight. Oles Sanin, Paul Volyanskyi, Vasyl Portyak and Maksym Chernysh are the authors of the film’s script. The cinematographer of the film is Serhiy Mikhalchuk.
