Mobile gynecological teams have started work in 10 regions of Ukraine. Doctors travel to hard-to-reach areas of the village and conduct gynecological examinations free of charge, the Institute of Family and Child Development Charitable Foundation reported. Doctors can be consulted for advice. Doctors of the mobile gynecological team provide the following services: medical examination by a gynecologist and a family doctor; ultrasound examination; electrocardiogram; consultation on women’s health, including prenatal and postpartum period, maternal health, child care; counseling on HIV infections and sexually transmitted diseases; medical and psychological support for victims of domestic violence or other types of war-related violence. The operator accepts calls every day from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The work of the on-site mobile team, its services and consumables are free of charge. The project is implemented by a team of specialists from regional perinatal centers with the financial support of the UN Population Fund and the coordination of the “Institute of Family and Child Development” Charitable Foundation.
