Singer Alla Pugacheva, who lives in Israel, published her first post on Instagram after her visit to Russia in early November.
“It’s funny and sad to watch a bunch of naked hypocrites, envious people and slanderers,” the singer wrote. She noted that her words about slaves and serfs, published in one of the posts in October last year, referred to them, and not to the entire people of Russia.
“I love the ego and I regret it, and you, with your rude statements against me, absurd inventions and blatant lies, are trying to push people away from me, for whom I lived and sang all my life, sacrificed my health and personal life,” the post says.
After the full-scale invasion of Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine, Alla Pugacheva and her husband, artist and TV presenter Maxim Galkin, who publicly condemned the war, left for Israel.
Galkin was later recognized as a foreign agent by the Russian Ministry of Justice. In response, Pugacheva publicly spoke out in support of her husband.
