On June 18, a 40-year-old resident of the village of Kuty contacted the law enforcement agencies of the Ivano-Frankivsk region and reported that his 9-year-old daughter had disappeared. The girl was found raped and murdered on the same day, the Prykarpattia police report. As the press service of the Ivano-Frankivsk region informed “UP.Zhyttia”, the family of the murdered girl “is considered safe” – she was not registered with the social service or other authorities. The girl’s parents are divorced, but they were engaged in the proper care and education of their daughter. The suspect in the crime is a 34-year-old relative of the murdered girl.
