Russia killed 485 children in Ukraine – Prosecutor General’s Office

As a result of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, 485 children died in Ukraine. In total, more than 1,490 children were affected, according to the Office of the Prosecutor General. Since February 24, 2022, 485 children have died in Ukraine and more than 1,005 have been injured of various degrees of severity. According to juvenile prosecutors, 387 children are considered missing. It is noted that the figures are not final, because work is ongoing to determine the number of victims in the places of hostilities, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories. The most children were affected in: Donetsk region – 464; Kharkivska – 283; Kyivska – 128; Khersonska – 105; Zaporozhye – 91; Mykolayivska – 89; Dnipropetrovsk – 80; Chernihivska – 71; Luhansk – 67. Also, 19,505 children were deported to the Russian Federation. Of them, 13,244 were found, and 371 children were returned home.
