Russia uses six scenarios for the abduction of Ukrainian children – authorized

Russia uses at least six scenarios to move Ukrainian children to its territory. One of them is establishing a fake diagnosis, which the child does not actually have.
This was stated by the President’s Commissioner for Children’s Rights and Child Rehabilitation, Daria Gerasimchuk.
According to her, Russians also use the following scenarios to kidnap Ukrainian children:
- first they kill the parents, and then they take the children to their territory;
- remove children directly from the biological family;
- separate children from their families during so-called filtering operations;
- they create conditions in the occupied territories that are unsuitable for a child’s life, and then, as it were, voluntarily offer parents to send their children to the so-called rehabilitation or rest, from which they are not returned home.

As Gerasimchuk noted, another scenario is the relocation of entire special institutions where Ukrainian children lived to the Russian Federation. At the same time, the Russians do not give Ukraine the opportunity to take its children to the controlled territory.
According to the commissioner, the Russians also take children to the territory of Belarus and Russia after establishing a fake diagnosis, which the child does not actually have, but, according to the occupiers, “this diagnosis requires treatment or rehabilitation not at home.”
We will remind you that the deportation of Ukrainian children was the reason for the International Criminal Court in The Hague to issue on March 17, 2023, an arrest warrant for the Russian President’s Commissioner for Children’s Rights Maria Lvova-Belova and Vladimir Putin himself.
The Red Cross of Belarus admitted that it steals children from Ukraine.
In Russia, kidnapped Ukrainian children are psychologically harassed, called names for being Ukrainian, and even beaten for disobedience.
Ukraine managed to return 387 of almost 20,000 children abducted by Russia.
