US President Joe Biden’s German shepherd nicknamed Commander was evicted from the White House.

This was reported by The New York Times with reference to the press secretary of the first lady Elizabeth Alexander.

The dog was evicted after a series of bites by US Secret Service agents. Currently, the dog no longer lives with the family.

The commander is currently not on the White House campus while the next steps are being evaluated, Alexander said in a statement.

The dog was evicted a few days after the shepherd’s 11th episode of aggressive behavior when she bit an officer. Previous incidents have also involved other agents of the service who protect the president.

After taking office, Joe Biden brought 2 German shepherds to the White House: Major and Champ. The latter died. The Commander appeared to replace him. He and Major are not currently in the White House.

US Secret Service agents are not responsible for the president’s pets, but often inevitably find themselves around them. They constantly try to take care of the animals, but the White House is sometimes a very stressful environment for dogs.
