In Ternopil, the widow of the defender of Ukraine Bohdan Tlenyuk Svitlana gave birth to twins – a boy and a girl. The children were born on the birthday of the deceased husband.

As reported in the Ternopil Regional Perinatal Center “Mother and Child”, the fact that the mother and children were discharged from the maternity hospital on February 24 – the second anniversary of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine – became symbolic.

“This Monday, a boy and a girl were born, who became a great consolation and a symbol of hope for their mother.

These children are our unbreakable faith in Ukraine’s victory over a ruthless enemy, in our bright future and happy present, which we have been fighting for decades. We will definitely win!“, the post of the medical facility reads.

Her husband’s parents, friends, family and siblings came to see the woman in labor discharged from the maternity hospital. All of them are support and support for Svetlana, the doctors add.

As “Suspilne” wrote, Svitlana Tlenyuk is 47 years old. Her husband Bohdan never heard the news that he would soon become a father. According to the woman, she found out about the pregnancy on the third day after his funeral.

“I am very sorry that my husband never found out about the pregnancy. He wanted children from the first day, but it didn’t work out for us.

When he came on vacation, I offered him in vitro fertilization. I learned that in one of the Ternopil clinics there is a free program for the military“, Svitlana said then.

The couple lived together for two and a half years. Svetlana had two sons from her first marriage. Last July, her eldest son Nazar died in the war. The youngest, Oleksiy, is now 15 years old.

We will remind, from the maternity hospital of the city of Volodymyr, in Volyn, Natalia Tsyba – a mother of many children and the wife of the fallen Hero Serhiy Tsyba – was met with a military band. The newborn son is the fourth child of Mrs. Natalia.
