To receive help, patients who need a transplant must receive an electronic referral from a doctor and contact a medical institution that has an agreement with the National Health Service under the package “Treatment of adults and children by the method of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation.”

Also, patients can be transferred from other hospitals or departments of hospitals, if they have the appropriate diagnosis.

Those wishing to become stem cell donors can apply to medical institutions without referrals.

Earlier we wrote that in Lviv, three children underwent rare stem cell transplantation operations.
