As of the morning of May 6, 2023, more than 1,444 children were injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. This is reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General. Since February 24, 2022, 480 children in Ukraine have died, and more than 964 have been injured of various degrees of severity. The agency adds that two children died in Ukraine on May 5. “A 16-year-old girl died in a medical facility, who was seriously injured due to shelling by Russian troops on April 29 in the city of Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. A 12-year-old girl was injured as a result of an airstrike in the city of Glukhiv, Sumy region,” the OGP added.
