On June 19, people spotted a moose in the Park of Partizanska Slava in Kyiv. He had a sickly appearance, so the workers called the rescue service. However, the moose died on the way to the Wildlife Rescue Center. This was reported by the animal protection organization UAnimals. As Anatoliy, the guard on duty at the park, said earlier, the moose broke the fence of the park’s stadium in the morning, and then ran around and looked for a way out. They did not have time to provide him with help, and, judging by the words of those present, “it was a situation without chances,” the organization writes. As the editor-in-chief told “UP Life” UAnimals Lyudmila Smolyar, when the elk was taken from the park, “he was essentially already in death agony”. Therefore, there were practically no chances to save the animal. “Since the autopsy is still ongoing, we can only speculate about the causes of death,” adds Lyudmila Smolyar According to the doctors, the moose could have been hit by a car – its side is badly bruised and the impact area is very large. “It’s a pity that it was so. It’s a pity,” the UAnimals organization noted. Previously, we talked about 12 animals that became famous during the war.
