The American publishing house publishes an anthology about the deceased Victoria Amelina

The Arrowsmith Press publishing house will publish an anthology of works dedicated to the deceased Ukrainian writer Victoria Amelinia. The book is called Nothing Bad Has Ever Happened: A Bouquet for Victoria Amelina (“Nothing bad ever happened: A bouquet for Victoria Amelina”), reports Suspilne.
Organized the collection Askold Melnychukan American writer of Ukrainian origin and founder of the publishing house, who met Victoria while co-teaching a creative writing course at the University of Iowa.
The title of the anthology is the same as Amelina’s essay, in which she reflects on two genocides – the Holodomor and the Holocaust.

Along with two essays by Amelina, the book also contains memories of the actress from her colleagues and friends, in particular from Tetyana Teren, Volodymyr Yermolenko, Oleksandr Mykhed. The book also contains a text by Hector Abad Faciolince, a Colombian writer who was with Amelin on June 27, when the writer was fatally wounded in Kramatorsk during a rocket attack on the city center.
Victoria Amelina died while accompanying writers from Colombia to Donetsk region to show life under Russian aggression. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the writer often visited the frontline and de-occupied territories to collect evidence and record Russian crimes for the human rights organization Truth Hounds.
