The Cabinet of Ministers considers it necessary to introduce a unified electronic record of Ukrainian students abroad.

A significant number of students who are abroad study at the “International Ukrainian School”. MUS is a state international distance learning school, created by the Ministry of Education and Culture for Ukrainian schoolchildren aged 6 to 17 who are permanently or temporarily abroad.

Currently, the school has more than 1,000 students get education externally, and about 5,000 are studying at educational centers in 11 countries. Documents for admission to the Moscow State University can be sent by mail to the following email address: [email protected].

However, for a systematic solution to this issue, it is necessary to introduce a single register of students abroad, according to the Ministry of Reintegration.

During the meeting, the officials proposed to allow the Ministry of Education and Culture:

  • accept students’ personal files in electronic form, as well as develop appropriate explanations;
  • to create an educational center that will accumulate cooperation with Ukrainian schools abroad.
