The family of rescued ferrets moved to the new enclosure of the orchard of the Kyiv Zoo. The names of the furry animals are Captain Schnitzel, Cola, Kakao, Shishka, Icy, Penelope, Athena, Luna and Hayechka, according to the zoo’s Facebook page. All of them were rescued from the Kyiv region in the spring of 2022, when the fighting was going on there. “After a long rehabilitation, the family of rescued ferrets moved into a large natural enclosure with an area of more than 30 square meters. For the comfort of the smart and restless furries, they have been equipped with various climbing frames, hiding places, tree stumps, baskets and a cozy house,” says the Kyiv Zoo.
