Such measures are advised to be implemented due to possible shelling of the Russian Federation before the anniversary of the full-scale invasion. For example, the Kyiv City Administration reported that students will continue their studies in a mixed format on February 22-24. “In the capital, a clear security mechanism has been developed for all educational institutions and all staff have been instructed on actions in the event of air alarms. In addition, all 404 schools that work in face-to-face mode have shelters where all students can be accommodated together with the staff of the institution,” they said. in the Department of Education and Science of Kyiv. The city council also reminded that parents can leave their child at home and connect them to online learning. At the same time, Serhii Shkarlet reminded that as a result of Russian aggression in Ukraine, 3,128 educational institutions were damaged, of which 441 were completely destroyed. Scarlet emphasized that the enemy is disregarding the norms of international and humanitarian law, killing the civilian population. During the year of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, 461 children died, and almost a thousand more were injured.
