For the first time, servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received sets of summer field suits, which are made taking into account women’s parameters.
50,000 sets of women’s summer field suits have already begun to be delivered to the troops.
As reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the new uniform included constructive elements that allow women soldiers to feel comfortable while performing tasks in field conditions and points of permanent deployment.
As noted, suits are made in sizes from 40 to 64, in height from 146 to 188 centimeters and in two fullness groups: II and III.

The models were developed by the relevant unit of the Armed Forces together with public organizations and Ukrainian manufacturers.
The form was tested in one of the military units.

“Many people worked on the development and implementation of the uniform for women. After all, tens of thousands of women are currently serving in the Ukrainian army. About 5,000 of them are on the front lines. Their number will only grow.
We are already seeing an increasing interest of women in joining the Armed Forces on a voluntary basis. Our task is to create decent conditions for their service“, said Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Nataliya Kalmykova.

In 2024, it is planned to purchase 65,000 sets of women’s summer field suits and 100,000 sets of women’s underwear, according to the Ministry of Defense.
Tenders for the purchase of these goods were announced in January.

We will remind you that the unified women’s uniform in the Armed Forces was first discussed in July 2022.
In the fall of the same year, volunteers began sewing it up, and by the end of the year, testing had already begun.
The Ministry of Defense approved the first bulletproof vest adapted to the peculiarities of the structure of the female body.
In July of last year, the Ministry of Defense presented an updated summer field uniform for female military personnel.
