The Ministry of Veterans Affairs will create a structure of mentors for soldiers and their families

In Ukraine, a structure of mentors will be created for veterans, their family members and families of fallen soldiers. This is reported by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine. “We know that many bureaucratic processes are taking place on the ground, which veterans and veterans face when they return to civilian life. Therefore, we are announcing the creation of a structure of mentors for veterans in the system of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, a kind of “army of veteran mentors”, – said the head of the Ministry of Veterans, Yulia Laputina. According to her, almost 10,000 people will become mentors – it is desirable that they are also veterans. We must create the conditions so that after the victory, our Defenders can return to civilian life in a quality manner,” the Minister noted. The project was supported by the Government and the Prime Minister of Ukraine. It must be implemented by experts of the Ministry together with local self-government bodies. Briefing and the discussion of the idea with veterans and public organizations should take place next week. The Ministry of Veterans promises to announce the details later.
