Language ombudsman Taras Kremin called on the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine to strengthen control over compliance with language legislation in institutions of professional pre-higher and higher education. Violation of this law has a negative impact on the field of education, Taras Kremin wrote on his Facebook page. According to him, regardless of the form of ownership of the institution, the problem is that managers pay insufficient attention to Ukrainian as the language of the educational process. “Violation of language legislation in Ukrainian colleges and universities negatively affects the image of the field of education and science as a whole,” the ombudsman said.
