The total time spent by Ukrainian military personnel abroad for treatment should not exceed 12 months.

According to the permanent representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, the relevant changes to the Cabinet resolution were approved during the government meeting on February 2.

It is established that the total time spent by the defender of Ukraine on treatment abroad, including the time of transfer from one foreign health care institution to another and the waiting time between planned surgical interventions, cannot exceed 12 consecutive months“, the post says.

It will be recalled that earlier the government simplified the procedure for the departure of wounded soldiers for treatment abroad. Medical institutions in which soldiers are undergoing treatment or rehabilitation will be able to independently determine the need to refer them for treatment.
