The Russians began to inform the security forces about the rainbow: reminiscent of LGBT
In the Russian Duma, Roskomnadzor was asked to officially announce that the rainbow is not related to LGBT.
This was reported by the TASS news agency of the occupying country.
State Duma Vice-Speaker Vladyslav Davankov noted that the number of cases where citizens complain to law enforcement agencies about LGBT propaganda through the image of a rainbow has increased.
“Economic subjects, public organizations, cultural organizations are afraid to use the image of the rainbow, because the rainbow flag is also used as a symbol of the LGBT community”, – said the vice-speaker of the State Duma.

Davankov reminded that Roskomnadzor by its order approved the criteria for evaluating information that promote “non-traditional sexual relations”. However, they lack provisions that would clearly indicate the possibility of administrative or criminal liability for using the image of the rainbow as a LGBT symbol.
It will be recalled that “LGBT propaganda, pedophilia and gender reassignment” have been banned at the legislative level in the Russian Federation.
Rainbow and rainbow flags are found in different cultures and used by different organizations, movements, regions and countries. In particular, such flags are symbols of the movement for peace, the indigenous peoples of America. The rainbow flag is the flag of one of the Brazilian states and a Peruvian city. The most famous variant of the rainbow flag is the pride flag, a symbol of the LGBT movement.
