Behind the desperate courage is the personal tragedy of the soldier, because the Russians killed his sister and a friend, reports the Ukrainian Witness. I also lost many close friends in this war. And I made a promise to myself: until the war is over, I will not give up on my tasks. Even if it means death.” – said the fighter. This happened in August 2022 in the Kherson direction. Then a Russian artillery shell destroyed a large part of their tank. The car was driving, but it could no longer shoot. Thanks to this equipment, the enemy knew where and in which direction our equipment was moving,” said the tank operator . He adds that “Lancets” (Russian-made UAVs) are “making trouble” for Ukrainian tanks in Donbas. According to the tanker, they do not pose a serious danger, but they can temporarily disable the machine.
