In the Zaporizhzhia region, a former juvenile prevention worker helped the occupiers to deport Ukrainian children to the Russian Federation. In peacetime, the woman took care of children’s rights in the department of juvenile prevention in the city of Primorsk, the State Bureau of Investigation reports. After the Russian invasion, the woman voluntarily went to work for the occupiers and, for her betrayal, received a position in the illegally created body “Primorskoe Department of the Internal Affairs Police”. The former policewoman helped the aggressor identify and transport Ukrainian children from the temporarily occupied territories to the Russian Federation. “Also, the perpetrator actively betrayed her compatriots, who did not want to submit to the occupation regime, to the enemy. Together with the occupiers, she participated in raids to seize property from local residents. The aggressors, traitors and collaborators spared nothing and took everything of any value.” – say the law enforcement officers. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of life imprisonment with confiscation of property. Procedural management is carried out by the Zaporizhia Regional Prosecutor’s Office. It will be recalled that earlier the UN commission recognized cases of deportation of Ukrainian children to the Russian Federation. Children’s Rights Commissioner Darya Gerasimchuk said that she currently has information on more than 19,500 deported and forcibly displaced children.
