It is noted that the film will tell about “the periods before, during and after the five-day tragedy”. Its first name is Salvaged (translated as “rescued”).
“Only the truth matters. And the world always has the right to know the truth, not the obscene bait shoved down our throats by those seeking their five minutes of fame.” – said the co-author of the tape, Jonathan Keesey.
What is known about the tragedy?
The tourist submarine “Titan” went missing in the Atlantic Ocean on June 18, 2023. There were five tourists on board – billionaire businessman and researcher Hamish Harding, Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman, French researcher Paul-Henri Narjolet, executive director of OceanGate Stockton Rush – the company that made this underwater trip. They went to the wreckage of the Titanic, which sank in 1912.
On June 22, the US Coast Guard announced that the search operation had ended. The wreckage of the “Titan” was found at a distance of 500 meters from the “Titanic” – at a depth of 4 kilometers.
Experts have established that the bathyscaphe exploded during the dive. All its passengers died.
On July 7, the company OceanGate, which organized tours to the sunken Titanic, ceased its activities.
