There are no petroleum products: the State Environmental Inspection has investigated the chemical composition of the Dnipro water

The State Environmental Inspection investigated the chemical indicators of the water in the Dnipro River: currently they are within the norm, no oil products have been detected. At the same time, according to the results of the research conducted the day before, the content of soluble oxygen in water continues to increase, reports the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources of Ukraine. This indicator ranges from 3.52 mg/dm3 to 6.23 mg/dm3 depending on the sampling point, with a norm of 4.00 mg/dm3. In the Ingulets River and the Dnipro-Buzka estuary, no exceedances of the maximum allowable concentrations of pollutants were recorded, but slight turbidity of the water was observed. Also, the State Inspectorate discovered the foci of dead fish near the village of Lysoghirka, Zaporizhzhia region. The examination of water for sanitary and microbiological indicators is within the competence of the Ministry of Health,” they say Ministry of Environment.
