100% of mathematics and Ukrainian language textbooks were printed for fifth-graders. Books on the natural sciences are also printed. What is the situation with their delivery directly to schools, the Ministry of Education and Science said. The department noted that these books were printed with donor money with the support of the European Union and UNICEF. “The percentage of delivery to institutions in each region is different, because the process of delivering textbooks printed with donor funds is more complicated. An additional procedure is needed for the transfer of books to the sphere of management of regional military administrations and their subsequent transfer to educational institutions,” the Ministry of Education and Culture explained. Delivery from regional bases to educational institutions in Vinnytsia, Donetsk, Kirovohrad, Zakarpattia, Odesa and Chernihiv regions is being completed. In the rest of the regions, the preparation of documents for the transfer of textbooks to the balance of education and science departments of the regional state administrations is currently underway. In the Kherson region, the textbooks are still kept in the institution of regional subordination, because the left bank remains under occupation, and the right bank of the region is in a 30-kilometer zone from the line of hostilities.
