More than 40 containers fell from the Mayview Maersk vessel in the North Sea on December 22 due to a storm.
In two days, thousands of pairs of shoes, refrigerators, medical equipment and other things arrived on the shores of Denmark.
The Danish publications The Maritime Executive, TV2 Nord and Nordjyske write about it.
According to mass media, only 4 containers of goods reached the shore. Things are scattered along the 14-kilometer coastline. Beach warden Thomas Duurlo told DR he had never seen anything like it.

On the beach from Bulbjerg to Blochus on Saturday, December 23, you could find everything from refrigerators, shoes and bags with hospital equipment to pillows for children.
Local police officers emphasize that it is forbidden to collect goods from the beach, because they are still the property of the company. Therefore, these actions are considered theft.
Maersk also said it had hired a company to search for boxes that had fallen overboard. They said no crew members were injured in the incident and that the vessel was now operating normally.
However, beach cleaning by workers continues. The weather conditions will not contribute to the quick collection of lost things – the sea continues to storm.
The ship is one of the largest in Maersk’s arsenal – its length reaches almost 400 meters.
According to preliminary data, more than 40 containers have been lost, but the final number will be counted after the ship arrives at the port of Gdańsk. There they should conduct an inspection and calculate the damages.
It will be recalled that in July in Scotland they rescued 55 pilot whales that washed ashore. Unfortunately, only one survived.
