In Volyn, two poachers were informed of the suspicion of killing a red-listed elk. The animal was shot on the territory of the Pripyat-Stokhid National Nature Park, the regional police reported. A 50-year-old resident of the village of Zarudche and a 62-year-old resident of the village of Selisok of the Kamin-Kashir district are suspected of committing the crime. The poachers were informed of the suspicion of illegal hunting by a group of persons in the territories and objects of the nature reserve, for an animal listed in the Red Book of Ukraine (Part 2 of Article 248 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), committed by a group of persons.
