Ukraine returned four children from the occupation: the youngest is less than a year old

Four children under the age of 16 were returned from the occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions. The youngest of them is not even a year old.
As reported by the Save Ukraine charity, the children are currently in no danger, they are in one of its centers.
“Currently, 15 rescue missions are underway, and today there are already 235 children whom we have returned to Ukraine from the occupation and the territory of Russia.” – noted in Save Ukraine.

Daria Gerasimchuk, Commissioner for Children’s Rights and Child Rehabilitation, said that the aggressor country uses at least six scenarios to abduct young Ukrainians to its territory.
They may falsely diagnose children as “needing treatment outside the home”, kill their parents, remove them from their biological family or separate them in “filtration camps”. In addition, entire special institutions where children lived can be moved to the Russian Federation.
Also, Gerasimchuk previously said that Ukrainian children are physically punished for disobedience. They can be beaten for refusing to speak Russian and sing the Russian national anthem.
As of December 2023, Ukraine managed to return 387 children from Russia. Instead, the total number of abducted is 20,000.
