Ukrainians were warned about a fraudulent scheme for the sale of coupons in the e-queue for processing documents – News

Fraudsters who resell slots in the electronic queue for processing documents have become active in the network.

Nataliya Naumenko, head of the State Migration Service of Ukraine, informed about this on Facebook, reports Ukrinform.

According to her, Ukrainians are massively reporting on the network about alleged cases of fraud with the alleged “sale” of free slots in the electronic queue during the processing of documents abroad.

“As noted by citizens of Ukraine who are in other countries, free places in electronic queues are reserved in advance by so-called intermediaries, after which they offer to “resell” them with a “markup” to people who need to complete documents. In some cases, “buyers” impersonate employees of the State Migration Service of Ukraine,” she said.

The head of the DMSU called on people, if they witnessed a situation where an inspector of SE “Document” or an employee of the State Migration Service of Ukraine offers to provide “intermediary” services in order to speed up the processing of documents, or “resells” slots in the e-queue, to call the hotline the DMS line and report similar cases.

Naumenko noted that this activity is against the law, and assured that DMSU responds to these incidents by dismissing unscrupulous employees and initiating appropriate criminal proceedings.

She informed that the problem of “limitation” of e-queue registration tickets at Dokument SE abroad really exists, and that this is due to the fact that the number of e-queue slots depends on the production capabilities of each individual center.

According to her, their number depends on how many people can be accepted for processing documents in the divisions of SE Dokument, taking into account the working hours and the number of workplaces of the respective division.

The head of the migration service noted that the DMSU systematically monitors the activities of operators providing document processing services outside the state, and improves the security component.

Naumenko said that within a month, the service contacted competent law enforcement agencies regarding user complaints about system imperfections and is currently testing a new potential operator. She specified that this also applies to the so-called entries in the “live” queue during a personal visit to the units of the SE “Dokument”.

“We once again warn everyone: do not under any circumstances use the offers of so-called intermediaries. Any promises on their part regarding “speeding up” the issuance of passports of citizens of Ukraine and other documents are illegal. Signing up for the electronic queue is free and is carried out on the official website of the State Enterprise “Dokument”, Naumenko wrote.

She recommended that Ukrainians use exclusively reliable and verified information, which is available 24/7 on the official website of the DMSU and on the service’s current pages on Facebook and Instagram.

The head of the migration service also published links to the official pages of the passport service (website, Facebook).

“If you are faced with the situations described above, report to the DMS hotline at (044) 363 22 50 and SE Dokument (044) 597-87-77. Important: the hotline does not work during air alarms,” ​​said Naumenko.

She noted that as of today, 13 “Passport service” centers are operating in foreign countries, which have provided more than 870,000 administrative services in almost two years of operation. According to her, these services are available in Germany (Munich, Berlin, Cologne), Poland (Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, Gdansk), Spain (Madrid, Valencia), Czech Republic (Prague), Slovakia (Bratislava), Italy (Milan) and Turkey (Istanbul).
