During NMT-2023, both in Ukraine and abroad, entrants violated the rules of integrity. They sent assignments to their friends, tutors and on social media, said Tetyana Vakulenko, director of the Ukrainian Center for Evaluation of the Quality of Education. “This year is unprecedented in terms of dishonesty among entrants. We have seen photos on social networks and in correspondence. This is a huge problem. The director of the UTSOYAO noted that in order to prevent write-offs and third-party assistance, instructors were brought in, who found mobile phones in NMT participants almost every shift. We also analyzed databases regarding logins from other devices. “In the coming years, we will have to strengthen this component and in certain ways try even better to prevent any write-offs,” said Vakulenko. The main session will end on June 23. The additional session will last from July 11 to 24.
