As noted in the publication, while on vacation in the village of Rybache, near the village of Lytyna in the Vinnytsia region, a woman received burns on about 70% of her body due to the ignition of a canister while cooking on an open fire. After the annexation of Crimea in 2014, she volunteered and took care of Crimean Tatar families who came to Vinnytsia. In 2016, Taisa Haida became one of the initiators of the protests against Anton Shevtsov, then head of the main department of the National Police of Vinnytsia, whom she accused of separatism and participation in the parade until May 9 in the occupied Crimea.
