Lisovyi said this on the air of the national telethon “Edyny Novyni” on April 24. “All key disciplines, both natural and humanitarian, should be preserved, concentrated, but presented in such a way as to take into account the child’s capabilities,” Lisovyi said. In schools, the following subjects will definitely not be cut: history of Ukraine; Ukrainian language; chemistry; physics; math; biology. And today this is a matter of experts and expert review. For example, it is possible to present the basics of health or some other disciplines in a more concentrated manner,” he said Forest. The minister also said that the registration for NMT-2023 is actively taking place, until the end of which there is a week left. 16,000 children expressed a desire to take the multitest abroad. This year, entrants take two compulsory subjects at NMT: Ukrainian language and mathematics, and the third subject is the history of Ukraine, a foreign language, biology, chemistry or physics to choose from. Lisovyi supported the fact that the history of Ukraine was not included in the list of mandatory subjects for the NMT this year. “We will check the knowledge of the history of Ukraine in all young citizens of Ukraine through the state final certification, but in a format similar to the external examination,” the minister commented.
