Registration for the NMT main session has already ended. Testing will continue until June 25. On June 5, registration for the additional session began. You could register until June 12. An additional session will be held from July 11 to 24. Graduates can also submit the results of the ZNO 2020 and 2021 tests or the NMT results of 2022 for admission. NMT consists of two compulsory subjects and one elective. Regardless of which subject the entrant chose, the results can be submitted when entering any specialty. Entrants to art and sports majors will take only the corresponding creative competition, they do not need the results of the NMT. A list of creative competitions for admission to a specific institution of higher education, as well as a list of competitive proposals, can be found in the admission rules of this institution. Master’s degree: entrants to the master’s degree will need the results of the unified entrance exam (EVI) – the master’s comprehensive test, as well as the unified professional entrance test (EFVV) for certain professions: 05 “Social and behavioral sciences”; 07 “Management and administration”; 08 “Law”; 28 “Public management and administration”; 29 “International relations”. An additional session of EVI and EFVV will be held for those who could not participate in the main session due to reasons “out of their control”. Entrants must submit an application for participation in an additional session to the relevant regional center for the assessment of the quality of education. Participants who did not appear to participate in the main session of the EFVV/EVI, together with the application, submit a document confirming the reason for the absence. In 2023, the entrant must include a letter of motivation with each submitted application for both bachelor’s and master’s admission. A letter of motivation is a document in which you explain the reasons why you consider yourself the best candidate for admission to the relevant educational program of a particular university. Conditions for admission to higher education institutions The first thing an applicant must do for both bachelor’s and master’s programs is to register a personal electronic account. Registration begins on July 1, 2023 at this link. Personal electronic accounts of entrants are open until November 30. What documents are required for registration of an electronic office: series and number of a document (one of the documents) about the previously obtained education (for bachelors, a certificate or a specialist diploma; for masters, a bachelor’s diploma); number, PIN code and year of receipt of the NMT certificate, ZNO certificate or examination slip, which was received during registration at the EVI/EVVV; type and number (series and number) of the identity document or the registration number of the taxpayer’s registration card (RNOKPP) (in case of absence of ZNO certificates/NMT certificate/EVI/EVVV examination sheet). Creative contests and interviews Baccalaureate: In order to enter the budget for most specialties, in addition to writing an NMT and a motivation letter, applicants will make a creative contest or will undergo an interview in one or two subjects. No test results are required for admission to arts and sports majors. You only need to send a motivational letter and make a creative competition. Master’s degree: Entrants to the master’s degree will be enrolled on the budget based on the results of the unified entrance exam (EVI), the unified professional entrance test (EVVV). If the applicant enters the master’s program in another specialty, he will take a professional exam at the educational institution. You can enter a contract for a master’s degree at a higher education institution only based on the results of a professional exam and/or review of motivation letters. Submission of applications for participation in interviews and creative competitions will last from July 3 to 10. They will be held in universities between July 7 and 18. Photo by Andrii Kalistratenko Benefits for entrants In 2023, the Ministry of Education and Culture retained all benefits and benefit categories for entrants provided for by law, in particular for residents of temporarily occupied territories, participants in hostilities and their children, namely: full or partial payment of education from state and local budgets; preferential long-term loans for education; social scholarships; free provision of textbooks; free access to the Internet, database systems in state and communal educational institutions; free accommodation in a dormitory; Who can receive benefits: orphans and children deprived of parental care; children with disabilities, persons with disabilities of groups I-III; children from low-income or large families; people and children of people recognized as participants in hostilities, persons with disabilities as a result of the war, victims of the Revolution of Dignity; children, one of whose parents died (missing) in the area where the anti-terrorist operation took place; children of persons who died while participating in the Revolution of Dignity; children living in settlements located on the contact line; children registered as internally displaced persons; If the applicant has benefits, it is necessary to contact the institution of higher education and provide documents that confirm the special conditions for admission. Namely: certificate of a participant in hostilities; ID card with disability due to war; a certificate of a family member of the deceased (for children of the deceased before they reach the age of 16 – a certificate issued to the mother or another adult family member of the deceased, or a guardian); child’s birth certificate; a certificate of registration of an internally displaced person; certificate of residence registration. Applicants from the temporarily occupied territories will be able to go through the admission procedures remotely and sign a training agreement within three months after the start of the training process. Applications for admission and competitive score Applicants can submit a total of up to 20 applications, of which no more than 5 are for the budget. For admission or transfer to the budget, it is necessary to score at least 130 points on the NMT. A weighting factor will be applied to the results of each block (in NMT there will be two of them: main and additional) in accordance with the specialty to which the applicant will enter. For medical specialties, the minimum number of points is 150 (medicine, dentistry, pediatrics, health care). For legal (law, public management and administration, international relations) and pharmacy – 140 for submitting documents for the budget and 120 – for the contract. However, the overall passing score is determined each year based on the results of the competition, so it will be known after the announcement of its results. Entrants with more points will compete in the competition for budget places. The competitive score for entering the contract is determined independently by the ZVO.

How the competitive score will be calculated. When calculating the competitive score, the grades from the first, second and third subjects of the NMT, the results of the creative competition and the score for successfully completing the preparatory courses of the higher education institution in the year of admission will be taken into account. This year, the average score of the certificate will not be taken into account during admission, despite the fact that the law of Ukraine on higher education provides for the consideration of these scores. Also, when entering higher education institutions, the village coefficient will not be applied (this is the coefficient by which the competitive score of those entrants who are registered in villages and received a full general secondary education there in the year of admission is multiplied by the final score). In addition, a recommendation from an educational institution for admission to a budget or contract place for obtaining a bachelor’s degree can be added to the application for admission. Admission from the temporarily occupied territories Applicants who have completed basic secondary or full general secondary education at an institution in the temporarily occupied territory can enter Ukrainian higher education institutions remotely. You can also submit documents to the ZVO in person. Applicants from TOT will be admitted to study based on the results of interviews and without passing the NMT. For those who enroll remotely, it is necessary to come to the university in person, submit the original documents for admission and conclude an agreement on obtaining education within 3 months after the start of studies. If these documents are not submitted or the study contract is not concluded within the prescribed period, the enrollment order will be cancelled. It will be possible to confirm the choice of the educational institution in the electronic cabinet after the announcement of the lists. The basis for enrolling an applicant for study is confirmation of the choice of the place of study, fulfillment of the requirements for enrollment and the conclusion of an agreement on study at a higher education institution. The training contract can be concluded remotely using qualified electronic signatures (KEP). Acceptance of documents to military educational institutions takes place according to their own admission rules.
