Where can military personnel pass VLK? They told the human rights organization

The Military Medical Commission (MMC) is an examination that determines suitability for military service and the need for medical and social rehabilitation.
The human rights organization for the military “Princip” told about the possible locations of the VLK.
Most often, VLKs are held according to the territorial principle. This is provided for in clause 6.6 of the Order “On approval of the Regulation on military medical examination in the Armed Forces of Ukraine”.
When a serviceman completes treatment, he is sent to the VLK. The referral for a medical examination indicates the name of the institution where he will undergo it. Mostly, this is an institution where the soldier was treated, or which is located next to the military unit.

However, there are other options for passing the VLK – depending on the place:
- treatment;
- teaching;
- stay on a business trip;
- taking a vacation
A military man has the right to request a medical examination in one of these places. He should mention this in his report.
