Medical facilities in Kharkiv, Odesa and Zaporizhzhia received help. Children who suffered from Russian aggression are treated and often rescued there.

Thanks to caring Ukrainians, the funds needed for the purchase of the equipment were collected within the framework of the “Road of Good” project in just two months.

The organizer of the project is the WOG gas station network, the co-organizer is the public organization “Masha Foundation”, the ambassador is Masha Yefrosinina.

As part of the project, guests of the WOG gas station bought their favorite hot drinks in cute purple cups with a unicorn. This year, the price of such a mug was 5 hryvnias. All funds were directed to the purchase of equipment for hospitals where children who have suffered from the war are saved.

As part of the “Road of Good” project, a biochemical analyzer was purchased and handed over to Odesa Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital, a modern X-ray system and equipment for digital X-rays – City Children’s Hospital No. 5 in Zaporizhia.

But the opportunity to help the Kharkiv Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital appeared unexpectedly. Instead of the expected 3 million hryvnias, which were announced as the goal of this year’s project, caring Ukrainians collected 4.15 million hryvnias.

So it made it possible to support another medical institution.

“As a result of enemy shelling and bombing of civilian infrastructure, hundreds of young Ukrainians were injured and injured.

Hospitals where these children are rescued need equipment that will allow specialists to quickly and adequately provide assistance to small patients.

I am extremely grateful to everyone who was unconcerned in the desire to give a chance for life to children who suffered from the actions of the aggressor.

Thanks to our joint efforts, someone’s little life will be saved, and many other patients will receive better diagnostics and the necessary medical care,” sums up Gennadiy Karlinsky, marketing director of the WOG gas station network.

The Kharkiv hospital was not chosen by chance. This is a multidisciplinary specialized children’s institution in which many children are treated from 0 to 18 years old, up to 6,000 complex operations are performed there per year, in particular for children with mine and explosive injuries.

With the additional funds received, the medical institution purchased a newborn hearing screening device, a critical condition analyzer used in emergency situations, a stationary operating lamp and a portable dental unit.

“We were given four very important devices. The hearing screening device for newborns helps to save the baby’s hearing. The operating lamp with LED lamps has already been tested during the operation, the surgeons are very satisfied.

But the most important thing is the analyzer of gases and electrolytes in the blood for intensive care units. When a child comes to us in an emergency, we use it to determine how therapy needs to be adjusted.

This device already helps our resuscitators in their work. A portable dental unit provides the opportunity to treat children’s teeth under general anesthesia…

There are quite a lot of such children, and they could not get help before. On behalf of the management of the hospital and the entire staff, I want to thank the organizers and participants of the “Road of Good” project for such much-needed help!” – stressed Oleksiy Savvo, deputy director of the Kharkiv Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital.

“These three cities, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Odesa, suffer greatly from shelling, their small residents are constantly at risk, that’s why we chose the hospitals there. In fact, even before the war, these institutions needed to update their equipment, but the state’s capabilities are currently very limited.

So, thanks to the care of Ukrainians, it was possible to improve the technical support of these hospitals,” Masha Yefrosinina, co-organizer and ambassador of the “Road of Good” project, emphasized.

We will remind you that “The Road of Goodness” is one of many socially significant projects implemented by WOG. It has been implemented for seventeen years in a row.

Since 2022, the company has focused on helping medical institutions that save children who are victims of war. Also, this project aims to develop a culture of charity, unity of society for the sake of salvation children’s lives
