Updated rules for accepting documents for admission were announced by the Ministry of Education and Science. “The key tool of the 2023 admissions campaign is the entrant’s personal electronic account, which provides the opportunity to quickly and at a place and time convenient for the entrant, in remote mode, enter the necessary data for submitting applications both for the entrance tests at the educational institution and for participation in the competitive selection “, the MES notes. In order to obtain professional pre-university education at the expense of the state or local budget, entrants will complete a creative competition (for a specified list of specialties) or an interview in 1 or 2 subjects. All other prospective undergraduate students, as well as medical, pharmaceutical and veterinary master’s students, must submit their NMT results. Entrants to the master’s program will be enrolled based on the results of: a single entrance exam (UEI); the unified professional entrance test (EFVV); a professional exam in an educational institution for admission to other specialties. Preferential categories in 2023 remain unchanged, in particular – for residents of temporarily occupied territories. Entrants who are registered there will be able to go through the admissions campaign procedures remotely and sign a training contract within 3 months after the start of training. Regarding benefits for residents from the territories of active hostilities, the MES and the Ministry of Justice promise to decide in May – everything depends on the military and political situation in Ukraine.
