Law enforcement officers established 36 episodes of crimes against minors, 18 of which are particularly serious, reports Andriy Nebytov, head of the National Police Headquarters in the Kyiv region, and the Kyiv regional prosecutor’s office. “Today, we sent the indictment to the court against the mother and her roommate. The 29-year-old resident of Brovarshchyna, together with her civilian husband, were starved, tortured and sexually abused children for a long time,” wrote Nebytov. The accused are in custody. So that the neighbors would not hear the children’s cries, the woman covered their mouths with a cloth and threatened to kill them. It is about the facts of domestic violence, torture, threats to kill, transfer of minors for exploitation, rape, sexual violence, child molestation and malicious failure to fulfill the duties of caring for children (Article 126-1, Part 2, Article 127, Part 1 Article 129, Part 3 of Article 149, Part 4, 5 of Article 152, Part 5 of Article 153, Part 2 of Article 156, Article 166 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Three children were removed from the family – they are under the care of foster care services.
