How many Ukrainians think that it is worth limiting yourself during the war? Poll

60% of Ukrainians believe that during the war it is necessary to significantly limit oneself in entertainment and shopping.

For almost two years since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, these indicators have not changed. This is evidenced by survey data of the “Rating” sociological group.

Most often, the need for restrictions on entertainment is expressed in the western regions.

36% of respondents aspire to live a fulfilling life. Most often, this opinion is held by residents of Kyiv and the de-occupied territories.

“For” shopping and entertainment, young and well-off people speak more, while the older generation and poorer respondents consider it appropriate to limit their desires.

At the same time, it is worth noting that every second Ukrainian does not make any plans in advance. Over the last year, the number of citizens who planned their lives for the long term decreased from 19% to 12%.

Long-term planning is usually done by residents of Kyiv, young and middle-aged people, as well as wealthier citizens.

We remind you that “Ukrainian Pravda” published a number of materials about the “bohemian life” of the capital. For example, about a restaurant that worked despite the curfew.

1,000 adult Ukrainians from all regions, except temporarily occupied territories, took part in the survey. The research was conducted by phone on November 22-23, 2023. The sample of participants is representative in terms of age, gender and type of settlement. The error of representativeness of the study with a confidence probability of 0.95: no more than 3.1%.
