On January 13, 1259 participants performed the Christmas carol “There in Bakhmut” in the Strilkiv community of the Lviv region, setting a new Ukrainian record.

The record was set by the “Book of World Records of Ukraine” organization. The record aimed to bring together as many nativity scenes and carols as possible to raise funds for the 80th Brigade during the Christmas Bird Festival.

During the setting of the record in the nomination “For the first time”, the following results were recorded: the number of people – 1259 people, the number of nativity scenes – 105, the number of participating countries – 8.

During the event, it was possible to collect more than 3 million hryvnias for specialized equipment for the military.

The action was initiated by the military chaplain of the 80th brigade, Father Ivan Galyo, and the priest from the Strilkiv community, Father Roman Grom.
