In England, 24-year-old cancer patient Caitlin Green, who was given a dream wedding two months ago for free, died.

Caitlin Green from Shropshire and Billy Green from Telford got married in November last year, writes the BBC.

The woman was suffering from a rare form of cancer – Hodgkin’s lymphoma. She was diagnosed with the fourth stage of the disease at the age of 19.

Despite the remission, last year the disease returned for the third time and the doctors said that there was nothing they could do.

The wedding was held in Christmas style

However, Caitlin and her chosen one decided to get married. And local businessmen gave the couple a surprise – more than three dozen suppliers provided the premises for the ceremony and everything necessary for free, including a wedding dress, cake and paid for the services of a photographer.

The wedding was held in Christmas style – there was even a snow machine.

“What they’ve done is breathtaking.” – Caitlin shared her emotions at the time.

A month after the wedding, the woman decided to start fundraising for experimental therapy so that, she said, she could spend more time with her three-year-old son.

However, at the end of January, the disease took over and the woman died.
