Famous British pub owner Ivan Brown was electrocuted while trying to take a photo in the Himalayas.
The tragedy happened during the man’s dream trip to India, the BBC reports.
Ivan Brown, 71, from Norwich, fell from a low wall and clung to a live electrical wire above him.
“Ivan was forever in search of the perfect photo”said David Linder, a friend of the deceased.
Forensic experts concluded that death occurred as a result of cardiac arrhythmia (disruption of the heart rhythm), provoked by an electric current.

Ivan Brown was a prominent landowner, father of three, and pub owner in Norwich, England.
Together with a friend, the man planned a trip to India for a whole year. They arrived at Dalhousie on March 31 in rainy weather, which made it difficult to see the mountains.
However, on April 2, the weather improved. The men saw the Himalayas in all their glory and asked the driver to take them to the observation deck to take a photo as a souvenir.
The man climbed a low wall nearby to take a picture. He reached for the cable to hold on, but it was live.
Ivan fell and hit his head on the wall. The local doctor could not resuscitate him. David Linder recalled in court that his friend “died instantly.”
“This shouldn’t have happened; he should have come home to us. We loved him very much.”– said one of the husband’s daughters.
This is not the first incident at an observation deck in the Indian part of the Himalayas.
Earlier, the Indian police informed the family of the deceased that they are investigating why the wire was live.
It will be recalled that a few years ago in India, 11 people were killed by lightning while taking a selfie.
And on October 8, a Ukrainian tourist died on Hoverl in the Carpathians.
