As Stanislav Stoykov, a public figure from Zaporizhzhia, told “UP. Life”, 30 high-rise buildings and 11 private houses, as well as several medical and educational institutions, were destroyed in the city.

“2 floors were completely destroyed, there were a couple of apartments and a bridge between them. There is nothing there now, the rocket hit the wall and two partitions were destroyed.” – says Stanislav.

According to local residents on social networks, a young man, Danylo, died in one of the apartments. His father tried to resuscitate him, but could not.
The wife of the deceased, Diana, is currently being searched, according to her neighbor Elena Pavlova-Derivedmid, she is under the rubble, which is still being sorted out. The mother of the deceased is in intensive care. It is known that the young couple recently got married and lived with the husband’s parents.
A neighbor of this family told Suspilny that he woke up from a blow and from his wife’s screams. According to him, the woman’s legs were in the glass, the man shook her and saw the wounds on his hands.
Vladyslava, a resident of the damaged building, says that after the first explosion, they went to the corridor, and after the second one, they ran to shelter.
“We heard the windows fly out. We were scared. We ran out into the yard in our pajamas and ran through the rubble to the basement, where the shelter is. We sat there for the first time.”she says.
Oleksiy Klymenko, who also lived in the house, had frames, balconies, entrance and interior doors smashed, and furniture knocked over.
“We started cleaning. I went down to the yard, and my wife was cleaning. Somehow they closed the windows in the apartment. They went out into the yard, and we were told to gather. We took the most necessary things.” – says the victim.
Elizaveta, a resident of Zaporizhia, writes on social media that her family was miraculously saved from the destroyed apartment. According to the woman, only one room survived, in which the family slept.
“We are alive, although there is nothing left of our apartment. We had such a beautiful house with friendly people. Our neighbors died, someone is still being searched for, I still don’t know how to live on.” – the woman writes.
Oleksiy Davydenko, the owner of the Medtechnik chain of stores, opened a store a month ago on the first floor of the currently demolished building.
“Tonight, an enemy S-300 destroyed a huge residential building, including our first store”he says.
The entrepreneur says that in the first months of the war, they already lost stores in Mariupol, Kharkiv, and Kherson.
