In China, a man and his girlfriend were executed for throwing two children out of a high-rise window. They were given lethal injections.

Zhang Bo and his chosen one, Ye Chengchen, staged the “accidental” fall of the husband’s children from his first marriage from the 15th floor window. The kids allegedly “prevented” the couple from “creating a new family,” writes CNN.

It is said that when Zhang Bo started an affair with Ye Chengcheng, he hid his marriage and parentage. Later he divorced his wife.

According to the trial, Ye Chengchen considered Zhang’s two children an “obstacle” to their marriage and “a burden on their future life together.” She repeatedly urged Zhang to kill the babies and threatened to break up with him if he did not do so.

In November 2020, Zhang, conspiring with his chosen one, threw his two-year-old daughter and one-year-old son out of the window of his apartment on the 15th floor.

The grieving father and his lover were sentenced to death in December 2021.

The Supreme People’s Court called the motives behind the crime “extremely heinous” and “particularly cruel,” state news agency Xinhua reported.

The news of their execution garnered hundreds of millions of views and approving comments on the Chinese social network Weibo.

It is believed that China leads the world in the number of executed and sentenced to death every year.

It will be recalled that in the state of Alabama (USA) the world’s first execution of a prisoner by nitrogen inhalation was carried out. Such a punishment was awarded to 58-year-old Kenneth Smith, who was convicted of a contract murder that he committed more than 30 years ago.
