In the village of Maidan-Lypnensky in Volyn, four storks fell into an abandoned water tower. The storks made a nest on it, but the rusty structure did not last. The local residents were unable to help the birds, so they called 101, according to the Central Department of Emergency Services in the Volyn region. “A defunct water tower and a stork’s nest curled up on it is a picture that almost everyone has seen. However, when four young storks together with the nest fell into the old rusty structure, it is a reason to call rescuers,” emergency workers say. In the village of Maidan-Lypnenskyi in Volyn, storks built a nest on a water tower. “Fortunately, the birds were not hurt by the fall, so they took to the wings and flew away. They will soon have a flight to spend the winter in warm places. And for us – to pave the way to Victories,” the rescuers add. The structure did not hold up, so four birds fell in. Rescuers from the State Emergency Service came to help. The birds were freed from the trap whole and unharmed.
