A 41-year-old man from Kyiv faces up to two years in prison for the domestic violence he systematically committed against his own brother.
As reported in the press service of the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office, the perpetrator lives in the same apartment with the victim, a 49-year-old man.
“The suspect’s illegal actions were expressed in insults with obscene words, threats and the use of physical violence. This behavior of the man led to a complex of negative experiences and psychological suffering of the victim regarding the family situation, and also significantly worsened the quality of his life“, the law enforcement officers said.

The prosecutor’s office notes that the suspect does not work anywhere and has no social ties. He has been repeatedly brought to administrative responsibility for domestic violence and is registered in the Desnyansk UP GU NP in Kyiv in the category of “offender”.
He faces up to 2 years in prison for what he did.
