The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv rejected the request of the prosecutor’s office for preventive measures against the head of the National Health Service of Ukraine Natalia Husak.

This was announced on the Facebook page of NSZU.

“NSHU is fully interested in ensuring an honest and objective process. After all, the National Health Service operates within the limits of the legislation and is convinced of its position.

The National Health Service has always been and will remain a transparent and open institution.” – declared in NSZU after the court decision.

On October 27, Natalia Husak was informed of suspicion of official negligence, which led to the embezzlement of 2 million hryvnias.

According to the investigation, in April 2022, one of the state-owned enterprises performed work on the administration of the central database of the electronic health care system.

At the same time, the act of handing over and accepting services included all works according to the contract and information about a certain amount of work that was not actually performed.

According to the law enforcement officers, the head of NSZU did not check the completed works and did not take measures to reduce the total amount of the contract. As a result, excess budget funds were spent.

Natalia Husak was searched at work and at home and documents and other material evidence were seized.

NSZU regarded the searches as pressure aimed at blocking the work of the service.
