Ukrainian health care institutions received the System Carebits telemedicine platform and 300 portable devices that allow doctors to remotely monitor the state of the fetus of pregnant women. This is reported in the Ministry of Health. Technologies allow pregnant women to be under the constant supervision of a doctor at home. The Ministry of Health added that currently the telemedicine platform is already successfully used in some perinatal centers of the country. The results of the diagnosis are analyzed by the doctor via his smartphone or the web version of the telemedicine platform,” the Ministry of Health emphasizes . The doctors add that thanks to the received technologies and with the help of artificial intelligence, they analyze the received vital signs of the fetus and form a separate report for treatment if necessary. “In the conditions of martial law, telemedicine technologies are increasingly used in the practical work of doctors. This allows for quick access to medical care for Ukrainians in all corners of the country. In such cases, telemedicine technologies have already helped save the lives of mothers and newborns,” said the Ministry of Health. As doctors noted earlier, due to constant stress, the cardiovascular system of every woman suffers, and pregnant women often experience fetal distress, uteroplacental blood flow disorders, placental dysfunction, etc. Thanks to remote monitoring, many complications can be prevented, the Ministry of Health concluded.
