Admission campaign-2023: 10 steps for admission to the university

Ukraine is preparing for the 2023 admissions campaign. The Ministry of Education and Science has published step-by-step instructions for applicants. Direct registration for NMT-2023 will begin on April 3. So, in order to enter your dream higher education institution, you must: ✅ Register the applicant’s personal electronic account. Each institution of higher education will create its own consultation center, which will assist applicants during registration of a personal electronic account and submission of applications. Registration of personal electronic accounts begins on July 1, 2023. They will be available until November 30. ✅️ Specify personal data when registering an electronic account. Each applicant must indicate: the series and number of the document (one of the documents) about previously acquired education (basis of admission); number, PIN code and the year of receipt of the NMT certificate/examination certificate/examination sheet, which was received during registration at the EVI/EVVV. If the entrant does not have the ZNO certificates, the NMT certificate, the EVI/EFVV examination sheet, then he must submit the type and number (series and number) of the identity document or the registration number of the taxpayer’s registration card to the personal account. ✅️ Confirm benefits, if any. If the applicant has benefits, it is necessary to apply to ZVO and provide documents that confirm the special conditions for admission. In 2023, the Ministry of Education and Culture retained all benefits and benefit categories provided for by law, in particular for residents of temporarily occupied territories. ✅️Pass entrance tests (NMT, EVI, EFVV, creative competition, professional exam, interviews) ✅️ Apply for admission Applicants can submit a total of up to 20 applications, of which no more than 5 are for the budget. ✅️ For admission or transfer to the budget, it is necessary to score at least 130 points on the NMT. Entrants with a higher number of points will compete in the competition for budget places. The competitive score for entering the contract is determined independently by the ZVO. For medical specialties, the minimum number of points is 150 (Medicine, dentistry, pediatrics, health care). For legal (law, public management and administration, international relations) and pharmacy – 140 for submitting documents for the budget and 120 – for the contract. ✅️ Get a recommendation for training. An educational institution can provide a recommendation for enrolling an applicant in a budget or contract place. ✅️ Confirm the choice of educational institution in the electronic office. ✅️ Sign a study contract with a higher educational institution. The contract can be concluded, in particular, remotely with qualified electronic signatures. For entrants from the temporarily occupied territories, the term of signing the contract is extended by 3 months from the start of studies. Acceptance of documents to military educational institutions takes place according to their own admission rules.
